General note Among the subjects treated are equivocal terms, faculties of the soul, rules of logic and the existence of God.
General note In this manuscript, the text is copied only until the end of the part on the soul. In three other manuscripts (Parma, Biblioteca Palatina Parm. 2105, New York, JTS 2307 and Oxford, Bodleian Library Mich. 50) a commentary on the thirteen principles of faith is appended (cf. MS Vat. Borg. ebr. 4) and in the Oxford and Parma manuscripts the treatise is followed by David Kimḥi's commentary on the Creation. Cf. E.
