Summary	The Sinhalese alphabet consists of 16 vowels and 35 consonants. Firstly all 16 vowels and 35 consonants are givens (f. 1r-v) and then each consonant is conjugated in each vowel. It means each consonant is declined 16 times. It seems "ae" and "ǣ" are missing from the vowel list of letters .
