Description
Summary Attanagaḷuvihāravanṡa Ākhyāta Prabandhaya is Sinhalese commentary based on Pāli hatthavanagallavihāravaṃsa and the historical account on Attanagalla Monastery.
General note Both Arabic numerals and letter pagination are applied. Pagination lettere applied on the lefside ot the folio from ka to khr (ka kā ki kī ku kū kṛ kṝ kḷ kḹ ke kai ko kau kām kaḥ kha khā khi khī khu khū khṛ) and Arabic numerals are applied on the rightside of the folio from 1 to 23. Both Aḷakesvara, one of the ministers of king Buvanekabāhu and one of the brothers of Aḷakesvara, Atthanayaka who supervised composition of Attanagaḷuvihāravanṡa Ākhyāta Prabandhaya while Attanagaḷuvihāravanṡa Ākhyāta Prabandhaya was composed by Senanayaka. After respecting the Buddha, the colophon detail introduces long adjectival phrase for supreme patriarch of Saṅgha, Anomadarṡana who was guiding the composition of Attanagaḷuvihāravanṡa Ākhyāta Prabandhaya which was based on the Pāli work hatthavanagallavihāravaṃsa in the year, Ṡaka Era 1304 (1382 CE).
